All-Star Favorites

Bella’s favorite lists

An  attention deficit, fickle minded, and spoiler whore’s list of all time favorite movies and dramas (edit ongoing).

I do recall Blue and I compiling our respective lists together and listing the reasons why we chose what we chose. Somehow, I don’t think that ever came into full fruition so here you have it folks, you will have the honor of seeing the follow up to that thought we had. I will attempt to review the dramas and movies listed below, an ambitious endeavor no less and I can’t promise that it will be timely but call it one of my new year’s resolutions! And so it begins…

Dramas-

I rarely finish a drama if I lose interest in it in any way but the dramas below are the ones that remain most memorable to me.  However, that doesn’t mean all of them were “quality” dramas. More often than not, each and every one of them is a reflection of who I was at the time/place/mood when I watched them. Some moved me deeply and on a personal level, some inspired me, some made me really really think, and some I found to be a welcome and much needed distraction.

Please do share your “all time favorites” as well and your thoughts too!

Blue’s favorite lists

Dramas

I’m hesitant to call this my favorite drama list. Rather, I went through my complete drama list, and picked out the dramas that I watched the most enthusiastically, at least at the time that I watched it.  I can’t speak of the quality of these dramas, or whether I’d rate it highly (or even enjoy it at all) if I were to watch it now. But instead, these are the dramas that were the first ones that I watched from the batch back in the old days when video rental was the norm; these are the dramas that I found myself looking forward to the next episodes; and/or these are the dramas that drove me to search the internet (to read about them or in search of spoilers). I’ve been trying to narrow down this list for quite a while now, but I decided to post the full list here and show you all the actual progress as I eliminate them one by one. Please cheer me on!

I’m so impressed that you were able to narrow down your list to top 24. I remember it being longer before. I’ve been working on cutting down my list, and right now, I’m at around 40. Once I trim it down to 25, I’ll update here. I must have liked many more dramas than I thought I did, or perhaps I was just much easier to please in the past.
